Sometimes one line
is all it takes.
Fine lines soften and spread over time. That is why I decide placement and line weight with the next ten years in mind, not just the first week. For places where blurring is common — wrists, fingers — I will tell you up front at the consultation.
I also take cover-ups and work over scars. Send a photo first and I will tell you what is possible.

Needles and ink caps are single-use and disposed of after every session. Everything that touches skin is either sterile and new, or covered.
Flying is usually fine. Swimming, saunas and long baths are not — keep the area out of water until it has finished peeling, roughly two weeks.
Often, yes — over old tattoos and over scars. It depends on how dark the existing ink is, so send a photo before you book.
